Veselin Pejović - Biography

Mr. Veselin Pejović is a Montenegrin entrepreneur, born in Nikšić in 1959. He is the director and founder of the company Uniprom, whose core business activities include the production and trade of aluminum and aluminum products.

He began his career in the metal sector as a teenager. In 1992, he took his first serious business steps by founding Uniprom. Then, in 1994, he opened the first aluminum production factory in Nikšić. After 10 years of operation, Uniprom, under Mr. Veselin Pejović's leadership, was recognized as the second-largest export company in Montenegro.

Thanks to his successful work, Mr. Pejović expanded his business into tourism through significant investments in the hotel industry. His company currently manages two luxury hotels: Hotel Budva on the Montenegrin coast and Hotel Zija in Podgorica. Meanwhile, he made further contributions to Montenegro's industry by purchasing and improving the operations of the Aluminum Plant in Podgorica. On the premises of the Aluminum Plant, he opened two new factories for the production of aluminum logs and billets using the latest technological standards. Uniprom, as one of the largest domestic private companies and the largest exporter, is a cornerstone of Montenegro's economy.

In 2019, Mr. Pejović was awarded the title of European Best Manager in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
